Pedestrian Pinned By Car In Morris County Acme Parking Lot: Police

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being run over by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Morris County supermarket Sunday morning, Dec. 1, police said.

The vehicle was pulling out of a spot in the Acme parking lot on E. Main Street in Denville, when they drove over the female pedestrian and came to a stop, with the pedestrian underneath the vehicle, Denville Police Capt. Scott Welsch said.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The incident is under investigation.
